We're leaving for California tomorrow and my mind is just swirling with all the things I need to do before then... laundry, packing, cleaning. And it all needs to get done in three short 1 hour bursts while Leilani naps in her room.
It's definitely a big change traveling with a baby. The logistics of it are staggering... The stroller gets gate-checked, car seat and base get counter-checked, how many bottles to bring on the plane, will she want this toy or that one, will she cry, will she sleep, will she get sick? And so on and so on. Aaahhh! It's close to overwhelming. But I remind myself, "We're not going to some 3rd world country. We're going to LA. If we forget something, we can just buy it there."
I need a vacation from this vacation.
