Nashville

Warning: I'm exhausted and this blog kind of rambles on...

Mike and have been to Nashville three times in the last four years. We love visiting Tennessee. We love the Predators. We love walking around the city. And we definitely love the barbecue. We've even talked about moving down there.

It's sad to see the pictures of Nashville under water. I didn't know that the Cumberland River could overflow like that. I really hope Nashville and the surrounding Cumberland area recover quickly.

I would like to see more national news coverage regarding this disaster so that more people around the country understand what Nashville is going through. Not many people know that the area has been in a state of emergency, or for how long. While we all can look back at the floods of Katrina in New Orleans and remember how much coverage there was, and therefore how much help from the public they received, not many people know what's going on in Nashville and not many realize how much help they need. And I hope they get the help they need soon.
